RIVIAN TRADE SHOW EXHIBIT

Self-Initiated Concept Design Project

This self-initiated project explored the design of a trade-show exhibit for the Rivian R2, inspired by the brand’s connection to adventure, technology, and the outdoors. Developed in SketchUp and Blender, the concept combines product presentation, retail, digital information, and environmental storytelling to create an engaging branded experience.

The project was influenced by Rivian’s visual identity, outdoor lifestyle imagery, natural materials, and contemporary automotive exhibits. The exhibit was designed around a central vehicle presentation area supported by retail and informational zones, with scenic elements helping connect the vehicle to the environments it is designed to explore.

The design process included brand research, initial layout studies, spatial development, 3D modeling, material exploration, lighting, and presentation rendering. Particular focus was placed on establishing a strong product focal point, maintaining clear sightlines, supporting visitor circulation, and balancing the surrounding environment with the vehicle as the primary feature.

Project scope included:

  • Exhibit concept development

  • Brand and visual research

  • Initial layout studies in SketchUp

  • 3D modeling in Blender

  • Vehicle, retail, and informational-zone development
